Nice transfer wheelchair. It is very sturdy and feels much more like a standard wheelchair than most flimsy transfer chairs. It is still a fairly heavy chair though so just be aware. Wheels were a little cumbersome to attach but otherwise, the rest was very easy. It is also narrow enough that I can go from room to room in my house without having to remove the doors from the frames.

I bought this transport wheelchair to use for my mother who would be visiting us and who has limited mobility. We found this wheelchair to be perfect. It folded enough to fit perfectly behind the rear seat in our tiny hatchback and was super quick to fold and reopen. She found it very comfortable and we were able to show her all of the sights around the Charleston, SC area thanks to it.It does require assembly on receipt, but assembly was very straight forward.

Bought for my husband’s doctor etc visits and also using at home now as he is becoming less mobile. The chair is sturdy & features are easy to use. I found it is easily folded for placing in our car trunk which is essential for this 83 yr old great grandmother.

Ordered this wheelchair for my step-dad. Everything was great: strudy chair that is very comfortable, lightweight that is easy for my Mom to also handle, delivered right on time, not too hard to assemble BUT all was going well until he tried to take a turn while rolling forward. The front wheels keep bumping into side rails making it unable to take a turn. We took everything on the front off and tried rearranging rails and wheels but to no avail. My sister who has experience from previous employment with this type of equipment couldn’t figure it out either. Other than that no complaints.

The person we got this for weighs around 270, so below the 300 claimed weight limit by about 10%, but it feels like this is putting a lot of strain on this chair. It creaks and flexes more than it should, and due to the offset of the front wheels beneath the spindles they need to rotate 180 degrees when you swap from pushing to pulling the chair, and they DO NOT do so easily even on hard floors, and very difficult on even short nap carpet. I just don’t feel like the front wheel assemblies are going to hold up well.Perhaps if the very skinny front tires were wider so that they didn’t bite into carpet, or if the spindle (the leg of the chair, essentially) was centered over the wheel hub it would work better, but they is going to fail, I think. As several people have mentioned, the skinny plastic front wheels, despite being 8″ diameter, do not ride over even small obstacles such as low door thresholds, much less anything even 1/2″ high. To get over anything you almost always have to pull the chair backward rather than push it, which is not always easy or convenient. You’ll need to be careful approaching any low bump or threshold, or you might easily bend or break the front wheel assembly.Beyond that, I guess it’s fairly comfortable, although the seat is just barely wide enough for our user, and the brakes do hold well. It folds easily and, while not a featherweight, it’s not terribly heavy like a standard wheelchair. If I could buy sturdier front wheel assemblies for this, perhaps with wider tires and less offset on the hub center, it could be a much improved unit. Think twice if you need this for anyone approaching 250 lbs or over!

The product looks like the cheap version of the other through just the picture but boy was I surprised that it’s the complete opposite it’s awesome it’s perfect for bumpy roads and it’s little to easy to build plus comfortable completely recommend

Got this for my wife when her knee was hurt. Great price for a steady and sturdy unit.

I haven’t foud anything to like yet. The box and packaging arrived looking like it had been through the war. The chair was damaged but I was able to repair (shouldn’t have to). Components did not fit together as they should- again I had to make adjustments to make it work. Overall quality is mediocre at best. 100% China product even though it is being sold by an American company. Safety features missing that should be required. I bought this because it was coming from Medline and I thought they were a reputable company.I will stay away from Medline products in the future if this is the best that they can do. Funcional y ligera

This chair is a pleasing color, and so far, a month in, the fabric is durable.Pluses versus old chairLighter weight. Folds down smaller. Fun color. Higher handles.CONSNarrower seat. Sides of seat are open, rather than solid, so stuff I put next to me falls out. Smaller back wheels do not allow me to “push” myself. Arm rests are hard plastic and not padded. This doesn’t become an issue until you spend a longer ride in the chair, but over bumps and any surface that is not perfectly smooth, your arms bang against the rests. While this may not seem terrible, be mindful of it for those “passengers” who are more fragile.Overall, good price, nice color, but it is missing some details that would have increased comfort. I’m glad my husband has less to lift. I’m less glad about my elbows and some thoughtful details.

This is an amendment to a previous review. This chair has been helpful to get my husband around and it is easy for me to lift. We did have a problem with the screw that hold the wheels on . Unknown to us, they vibrate loose and one fell off somewhere in the Honolulu airport and was lost. So make sure you regularly check for tightness. It was difficult getting a replacement but in the end Medline did supply us with 4 screws. The chair can be great, just monitor the screws. And as other reviews have said go backwards up curbs.

Mom lives in assisting living. The chair is supposed to be light weight for travel. It is almost as heavy as her regular one.Beautiful, well made chair.
